(Phnom Penh, Cambodia) Nhoeun Chanreth, owner of AGRO Nature is improving the health of his community by producing organic fruits, vegetables, and agricultural products. A ThriiveCapital loan provided his business with desperately needed refrigeration equipment as well as a green house and a tuk-tuk to improve production and delivery capabilities. For repayment of his loan, Nhoeun is providing training in organic agriculture to 60 poor farmers. They are learning how to produce and use organic fertilizer to grow vegetables without chemicals. Poor farmers in Cambodia often lack proper techniques, contributing to low yield and high production costs. With the training they are receiving, they will be able to increase their income by selling their products directly to AGRO Nature and in local markets while helping maintain the food supply in Cambodia!
